Jeep Beach Daytona: dates, registration, events, camping, and how to prepare

A visitor guide to the April Jeep gathering, from the Speedway registration and the vendor show to track laps, camping, county beach rules, and the pages that still show last year’s dates.

Checked against official pages on November 6, 2026. This Is Florida is an independent visitor guide. It does not organize Jeep Beach or sell its tickets.

When is Jeep Beach?

Jeep Beach 2027 runs Friday, April 16, through Sunday, April 25. That is ten days in Daytona Beach and, on the organizer’s schedule page, across Ormond Beach as well. Jeep Beach prints those dates on its homepage. The Daytona Beach visitor bureau prints the same dates. The main event and vendor show are Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24, at Daytona International Speedway.

Main event and vendor showFriday, April 23, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, April 24The schedule prints Friday’s hours. Saturday is listed as the second main-event day. The vendor resources page prints show hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for both vendor days.
Final day of the event periodSunday, April 25, 2027Homepage. The full closing-day lineup was still marked “coming soon” on the schedule.

Several pages on the same website still describe 2026. The VIP schedule and the Summit schedule are labeled JB26. The classic Jeep calendar is labeled 2026. The Tiki Party page still sells Thursday, April 23, 2026. The lodging homebase still says April 17–26, 2026. Use a page that names JB27 or prints 2027 before you reserve a room or a convoy time.

Pick the days that match the activity. Track laps are the Tuesday before the main weekend. A Friday arrival misses them. The public schedule says the rest of the lineup is still being built. An old flyer’s band, party, or parade time is not this year’s plan until the current page says so.

The 2026 gathering already happened. The visitor bureau’s 2026 event page lists April 17–26, 2026. Do not use those dates for a 2027 stay. March’s Daytona Beach Bike Week is a different rally.

How to join

Jeep Beach, Inc. is the organizer. Its about page says the nonprofit was founded on October 13, 2017, reports more than $5 million given to local charities, and says it has supported more than 150 nonprofits. Those are the organizer’s cumulative figures. They are not a pledge for what 2027 will raise. The visitor bureau says the gathering itself began in 2003. You are buying entry to an organized event. Registration is not permission to drive anywhere in Daytona.

Participant, spectator, or Summit

EntryPublished priceWhat the page says
JB27 registration$100 per JeepOne Jeep and all seat-belted passengers for the main event and vendor show on April 23 and 24. The product says registrations are final and non-refundable.
Spectator$20 per person, each dayFriday and Saturday. No reentry. Children 12 and under are free. Parking is outside the Speedway off International Speedway Boulevard.
Summit$500 per personLimited to 400 guests. One JB27 registration is included per adult ticket. An existing $100 registration can be applied toward the first Summit pass.

Buy from the organizer’s shop. The participant page says camping, credentials, and upgrades attach to a registration. Save the confirmation. Do not send money to a social-media account because it shows a screenshot of someone else’s pass.

The FAQ says this is a Jeep-only event. Other brands are not admitted as participant vehicles. A spectator ticket is the way to walk the show without bringing a Jeep. A rental confirmation does not decide whether that rental company allows the obstacle course, the trails, or the beach. Read the rental contract before you register the vehicle for a driving activity.

What the $100 lists

The JB27 registration product and the FAQ list the same core benefits: the Jeep and its belted passengers, the main event and vendor show, infield parking, the obstacle course, and Jeep Beach Village. Village includes the JBR stage, live entertainment, food trucks, and a Kids Club area. The product also says you drive through the Speedway tunnel into the show. Packages ship in early 2027. In-person pickup is April 19–24, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

That $100 is per Jeep. It is not $100 for each passenger. Everyone still needs a real seat and a fastened belt. Camping, laps, storage, and the county beach are not in that list.

Two pages disagree about the obstacle course and about how early the Jeep must arrive. The registration product and the FAQ include the obstacle course. Jeep Beach 101 says signature events, MusicFest, the obstacle course, and add-ons are separate from registration. The same 101 page says main-event vehicle gates shut at 8 a.m. Friday and Saturday, while the public schedule starts Friday’s show at 9 a.m. Show-opening time is not the deadline for driving the Jeep in. Confirm the course entitlement and the vehicle-arrival rule on your own order before you leave the hotel.

Jeep Beach 101 also says registration gets the Jeep through the gates for the whole week. The $100 product is narrower: it names April 23 and 24. Treat the product page as the list of what that payment covers. Tuesday laps and the midweek trails are different products.

Gates

The FAQ puts on-site registration at Gate 70, off Midway Avenue. Vendor and camping check-in are at Gate 40, off Williamson Boulevard. Use the gate on your instructions. The nearest gate to the hotel can be the wrong one.

Summit, and what not to buy twice

The Summit product includes a separate entrance, premium infield parking, and the Rolex Lounge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with indoor seating, restrooms, and upper-level views. Food and drink on that page are continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, water, sodas, and two beer or wine tickets per day for adults. Jeep-side perks on the same page are the registration, Tuesday, April 20 track laps, the Off-Road Experience on April 21 and 22, trailer parking, top-and-door storage, and early obstacle-course access with a photo on Thursday, April 22. It also includes one adult ticket to a Tiki Party on Thursday, April 22. The public Tiki page is still the 2026 party, so use the Summit product for that date and ignore the 2026 ticket link.

Compare the $500 with the regular registration plus only the extras you will use. Skip an add-on the pass already includes. Some Summit items are marked adult-only. The FAQ’s “12 and under free” rule is the spectator rule. It is not printed on the Summit product. Ask for a child’s total before you add one.

The vendor show and the Village

The about page and the visitor bureau both describe a show with more than 200 Jeep-industry vendors at the Speedway. That is the reason many owners go: to compare parts on the vehicles they fit, and to ask about installation, alignment, warranty, shipping, and the installed price. Bring the Jeep’s year, model, trim, tire size, and a short note of what is already modified. A short list of the problems you want to solve is more useful than a pile of parts that do not work together.

The main registration includes Village: the stage, food, and the Kids Club area. Plan time out of the driver’s seat. The public entertainment lineup was not finished on November 6, 2026. The schedule page says Jeep Beach is still building it. Neon Nights says its details are the last published lineup and that 2027 dates and tickets will be confirmed closer to the event. Do not copy a performer’s name, a cover charge, or a start time from a 2026 flyer.

The FAQ safety rules for the courses: the Jeep must be licensed and insured, the driver must be licensed, and everyone must be belted. Course volunteers’ directions control the course. Horseplay can get a vehicle removed. Watching a few vehicles first is a sound way to judge whether a line suits your Jeep. Skipping an obstacle is a better result than breaking the vehicle you need for the drive home. Admission does not mean every Jeep can complete every obstacle.

A paid Kids Club membership is a different product from the Kids Club area inside Village. The membership page says that membership runs through March 31, 2027, which is before the April event. Confirm the period on the product before you buy it for April. The area inside the show is not a promise of unsupervised childcare.

People sometimes leave a small rubber duck on another Jeep. That is optional. Stay out of the cabin, and do not leave anything that blocks a mirror, a pedal, or the driver’s view, or that becomes litter.

Track laps and the off-road days

Three parade laps, Tuesday only

The current track-lap product is $50 and is dated Tuesday, April 20, 2027 only. It is three escorted parade laps. You choose a time slot while registering. Each slot is limited to 50 Jeeps. Arrive 30 minutes before that time. One start/finish photograph is included, with online delivery expected in 24 to 48 hours. The same product says classic Jeeps’ free laps are 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. The separate classic calendar is still labeled 2026, so confirm anything beyond that one line.

These are parade laps with an escort. They are not a race, an open track day, or a speed test. A Friday arrival misses them. An older product, still on the site under a JB26 title, is dated Tuesday, April 21, 2026. Do not buy that one for 2027.

Trails are not the same as the Speedway course

The Summit pass includes an Off-Road Experience on Wednesday, April 21, and Thursday, April 22, 2027. The 2026 Summit schedule placed that experience at Florida Cracker Ranch. The 2027 Summit product names the days and does not reprint the address. Confirm the 2027 location, check-in, and vehicle rules before you leave lodging.

On November 6, 2026, the shop’s participant add-on list did not include a separate 2027 trail ticket. A JB26 off-road product is still listed, at $50, for April 22–23, 2026, and a vendor off-road product is still titled JB26. Four-wheel drive does not put you on those trails, and a 2026 product date does not become 2027 because the footer says 2027. The Speedway obstacle course and a trail park are different places.

The parade and the county beach

The visitor bureau says the week builds toward the main Speedway weekend and ends with the World’s Most Famous Beach Parade. The organizer’s 2027 schedule does not yet list parade staging, the route, the start time, or who may enter. Wait for the current instructions before you set a convoy time. Last year’s ramp is not this year’s plan until the organizer says so. A parade entry and an ordinary beach visit are different things.

The $100 registration description does not include a county beach-driving pass. Budget for the beach on its own unless a confirmation you actually hold says otherwise.

Volusia County’s beach-driving page lists visitor on-beach rates in effect since October 1, 2024: $30 for a day, and $150 for an annual visitor beach-driving pass. Qualified county residents can register for no-cost access. Off-beach parking is a separate pass, $20 a day or $100 for a visitor annual, in effect since January 1, 2025. Those are county rates, not Jeep Beach prices, and they can change before April 2027. Daily fees can be paid at a county ramp booth or an off-beach lot. Annual passes are not sold at the ramp booths.

On the driving beach, the county beach rules require headlights on and at least one front window completely open. Texting while driving is prohibited. The speed limit is 10 mph. Alcohol and glass containers are not allowed. Stay out of the conservation zone and out of the dunes. From November 1 through April 30, driving hours are sunrise to sunset, and only when tides and weather leave the beach open. April sits inside that window. A tide or a storm can close driving while the Speedway event continues. The county points drivers to the Volusia Beaches app for which ramps are open.

The beach is a shared public road and a parking area. It is not an obstacle course. No unofficial hill climbs, no dune driving, and no speed run for a video. An event wristband does not change the surf. Swim in front of a lifeguard.

Where to stay

Match the bed to the days you booked. A Speedway-area room suits repeated gate trips. A beachside room suits ocean time and a longer drive back after dark. Ormond Beach is a real drive from the Speedway, not a walk. Our Florida hotels page is a statewide starting point. Ask any property about a lifted Jeep’s height, a trailer, extra vehicles, garage clearance, and whether sandy or muddy gear can be cleaned on site. Get quiet hours and visitor rules in writing for a vacation rental.

The organizer’s lodging pages that were live on November 6, 2026 still wear 2026 labels, including “official hotel of JB26” and the dates April 17–26, 2026. Hard Rock Hotel Daytona Beach appears on those older host-hotel pages. Treat that as history until the booking link itself shows April 16–25, 2027. Read the total, the cancellation date, and the parking note before you pay.

Camping inside the Speedway

The camping overview lists seven ways to stay on the property. Prices below are the ones that page showed. Utilities are not the same at every site. The overview does not promise a sewer hookup.

SiteListed priceWhat the overview says you get
Driver/Owner RV lot$1,000Paved spaces, 50-amp power, and water. One RV, one Jeep, up to five people.
Shores of Lake Lloyd$450–$800Paved sites, 50-amp power, and water. The overview pairs $450 with Wednesday–Sunday and $800 with Friday–Sunday. Read the checkout, because the shorter stay is the higher figure on that page.
West end of Lake Lloyd$700Hard-packed grass, 50-amp power, and water, listed for the full event week.
Inside Turns 1 and 2$300–$600Hard-packed grass and hookups. More than one length of stay is listed. The product page shows which nights you are buying.
Tent and overland$200–$500Dry camping, with restrooms and shower houses. Choices of 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 nights. One Jeep, one tent or overland setup, up to five people.

House rules on that overview: check-in opens at 9 a.m., arrivals are required by 6 p.m., extra vehicles need a $20-per-night parking pass, the Jeep must be registered, and everyone must be out of the infield by 2 p.m. on the final Sunday. Camping check-in is at Gate 40.

Confirm the 2027 checkout date on the receipt. The camping overview says 2 p.m. on the final Sunday. In 2027 that Sunday is April 25. The Driver/Owner product still says RVs must leave by 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 26. April 26, 2027 is a Monday. Do not book a flight around an extra night that exists only in leftover 2026 text. Ask about generators, sewage, quiet hours, and access for the specific site. “Inside the Speedway” is not a full description of the hookups.

Trailer parking and top-and-door storage

The 2027 trailer-parking block is $25 a night, from 1 to 9 nights, so the range on the product is $25–$225. It lists Friday, April 16 through Sunday, April 25, 2027, inside Gate 40, with 24-hour access. Trailers must be out by 2 p.m. Sunday, April 25. The same page still has a paragraph dated Friday, April 17, 2026 through Sunday, April 26, 2026. Use the 2027 block, and read the confirmation. Reserve before you tow into the event. A hotel parking space is not this reservation. The page says the space is for the trailer and the tow rig. Confirm the length limit.

Top-and-door storage is $50 for Friday, April 16 through Sunday, April 25, 2027, in the infield, with 24-hour access. You remove and store your own equipment. The organizer encourages padding and a lock. Collection is due by 2 p.m. on April 25. Practice the removal at home, label the hardware, and bring enough help for the heavy pieces. A rental contract or an insurance policy may not allow the trip without doors or a top. Read those before you take them off.

Prepare the Jeep and the people

Do the maintenance early enough to find a problem before departure day. Check the vehicle identification number for open safety recalls. Look at tires, including the spare, lights, brakes, the cooling system, the battery, wipers, fluid levels, and leaks. For a modified Jeep, have a qualified inspection when the lift, the steering, or the wheel hardware is new to you. Do not make departure morning the first test of a new lift, oversized tires, a loaded trailer, or a steering change.

Carry the license, registration, insurance information, the event confirmation, and the roadside-assistance details. Check whether that assistance covers a modified Jeep and the kind of tow you may need. The general registration does not require a minimum lift or tire size. A show, the Village, and a scenic drive do not require a difficult obstacle. Clearance, traction, load, and the driver’s experience decide what is suitable. “It is a Jeep” does not mean it can follow the vehicle ahead.

Read the manual for your transfer case. Some part-time four-wheel-drive settings are not for dry pavement and can damage the driveline. Controls differ by model. Road tire pressure belongs on the door placard or in the manual, not at the maximum number molded into the sidewall. Lower pressure is sometimes used off pavement. It can also unseat a tire. Carry a gauge and a way to reinflate before you return to the road.

Belt every passenger, including children in the right seat. Tie the load down. Loose cargo becomes a hazard on an obstacle. Stay in the seat while the Jeep is moving. Keep bystanders back from a recovery, and let the course staff handle a stuck vehicle.

What to pack

For peopleFor the JeepFor the event
Water, sun protection, a hat, walking shoes, a rain layer, and needed medicineA spare key kept separate, a tire gauge, the tools you know how to use, and a way to reinflate tiresConfirmations, identification, a charged phone, a power bank, and the saved gate notes
A change of clothes and towels after trails or the beachPadding and a lock if the top or the doors are coming offMoney for food, the beach pass, and a repair you did not plan
Hearing protection for a loud displayA plan for where purchases ride home, tied downA sober way back after any evening event

The FAQ allows coolers with water or soda and prohibits outside alcohol. Coolers may be searched. Ordinary pets are not allowed. Only service animals may enter. Do not leave a pet in the Jeep. Make a separate care plan. Bicycles, skateboards, golf carts, OneWheels, and other motorized personal vehicles are prohibited in the main-event areas. The FAQ says ADA scooters can be rented on site. Confirm that rental, and any accessible parking, with the organizer before you depend on it.

Weather

Plan for sun, wind, and rain. Check the Daytona forecast before you leave home and again each morning. The Kids Club page says events are weather permitting and can change. A building, or a closed vehicle with a metal roof, is the shelter to use when thunder is close. A Jeep with the top off, a soft top, a pop-up canopy, or a tent is not that shelter. If the top is in storage, decide where you will go before a storm reaches the infield.

After trails or beach driving, look under the Jeep before the interstate. Check tires, steering, suspension, brakes, and the cooling system. Wash out mud and sand. Put road pressures back in the tires. Reinstall the top and the doors the way the manual describes. New vibration, a pull in the steering, a leak, heat, or a soft brake pedal is a reason to stop, not a problem for the far end of the trip.

Sample plans

These are suggestions. They are not the official schedule. The public lineup was still being built when this page was checked.

One spectator day

Pick Friday, April 23, or Saturday, April 24. Use the spectator parking off International Speedway Boulevard. Walk the vendors, watch the course, and spend time in the Village. Spectator admission has no reentry, so handle meals and anything you must carry before you go in.

Three days at the main event

Thursday: arrive, settle, pick up the packet at Gate 70 if you are registered, and read the next morning’s gate note. Friday: the vendor show and, if your order includes it, a course that suits the Jeep. Saturday: the shopping and the stage time you left open. That split keeps the drive, the check-in, and the whole show from landing on one day.

A longer trip built around the published driving days

Monday, April 19: arrive and pick up the packet. Tuesday: the reserved laps, if you bought them. Wednesday or Thursday: the Off-Road Experience, if your Summit pass or a current 2027 add-on includes it, with time afterward to inspect and clean the Jeep. Friday and Saturday: the main event. Sunday, April 25: collect stored tops, doors, and the trailer, and be out of camping by the 2 p.m. rule on your confirmation. Leave an open block each day. A schedule with no slack has no room for traffic, weather, or a conversation worth staying for.

You do not need all ten days. Families do better with shorter blocks, a written meeting spot, shade, and time away from the loudest displays. Check the age rule for the specific activity. The whole week is not one kind of event.

A rough activity total

ItemListed price when checked
JB27 registration, one Jeep$100
Track laps, April 20$50
Those two together$150

That $150 is not a vacation price. It leaves out lodging, food, fuel, camping, the trailer, top storage, the county beach pass, sales tax, and anything you buy at a booth. A trail day was not a $50 participant add-on on the 2027 shop list. It was included with Summit, which is $500 per person and includes the registration and the laps, so do not add those again. Ask for the amount you will actually be charged.

The shop also sells a separate Jeep drawing at $50 an entry. That drawing is not admission. Read its own rules if you want an entry. Between events, a visitor-bureau ride article describes the Ormond Scenic Loop as more than 30 miles of public road, with tree canopy and water. Use the current map and the posted speed limits. It is not an off-road trail. Ponce Inlet, the aquarium, and ONE DAYTONA have their own hours and tickets. Our Daytona Beach page is a local starting point.

Volunteers and vendors

Volunteer signup uses the email you enter. The page says packets usually go out around the beginning of April to people who have signed up. Confirm the shift, the gate, and whether the shift includes any admission. Volunteering is not the same thing as a participant registration.

Selling at the show requires approval before you claim a space. Vendor resources then require vendor registration and a certificate of insurance before load-in. The published limits on that page are $1,000,000 general liability, $1,000,000 automobile, and $2,000,000 umbrella. Additional insureds must include Daytona International Speedway, LLC, 1801 W International Speedway, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, and Jeep Beach Inc., 124 N Nova Road, Daytona Beach, FL. Load-in is through Gate 40 on South Williamson Boulevard. The page says vendor check-in opens at 9 a.m. on the Monday of event week, and that gates, dates, and times are reset each year. Match them to the credential packet. A participant registration is not a vendor permit. The shop still lists some vendor extras under JB26 titles. Read the year on the product before you pay for inventory or travel.

Questions

When is Jeep Beach 2027?

Friday, April 16, through Sunday, April 25, 2027. The main event and vendor show are Friday and Saturday, April 23 and 24, at Daytona International Speedway. Jeep Beach and the Daytona Beach visitor bureau both print those dates.

Is there one ticket for Jeep Beach?

No. The JB27 registration is $100 per Jeep and covers that Jeep and its seat-belted passengers for April 23 and 24. Spectators pay $20 per person each day, with no reentry. Children 12 and under are free on spectator admission. Track laps, camping, trailer parking, and top-and-door storage are separate products. The Summit pass is $500 per person.

Does the $100 registration include the obstacle course?

The current JB27 registration product and the FAQ say yes. Jeep Beach 101 still says the obstacle course is separate from registration. Confirm the entitlement on the checkout page before you pay.

Does Jeep Beach registration include driving on the beach?

The $100 registration lists Speedway benefits. It does not list a Volusia County beach-driving pass. Visitors currently pay $30 for a daily beach-driving pass or $150 for an annual visitor beach-driving pass. County beach rules still apply.

Can I go to Jeep Beach without a Jeep?

Yes, as a spectator on Friday and Saturday. Spectator parking is outside the Speedway off International Speedway Boulevard. Other vehicle brands are not admitted as participant vehicles.

When does Speedway camping have to be out?

The camping overview says RVs and campers must leave the infield by 2:00 p.m. on the final Sunday. In 2027 that Sunday is April 25. The Driver/Owner camping product still says Sunday, April 26, which was the 2026 checkout. Read the confirmation before you book a flight around an extra night.
