Can I keep it today? (saltwater)

You need a Florida fishing license unless you're exempt. Buy it only from the official state site, GoOutdoorsFlorida.com, or see FWC's license page for who's exempt.

Check before you keep a fish. Seasons and limits change, sometimes on short notice by FWC executive order. This list was checked against FWC's official pages on and covers Florida state waters. Federal waters can have different seasons. Always confirm on the linked FWC page. This Is Florida isn't affiliated with FWC, and this isn't legal advice.
About the tides: Tide times come live from NOAA Tides & Currents predictions, in the station's local time. The curve between high and low is a smooth estimate. Wind and storms can push real water levels well above or below predictions. Sun and moon times are calculated on this page. Not for navigation.
Run a charter, bait shop or marina? Get found by the people checking tides before they head out. One $8 This Is Florida passport works both ways, for members and businesses, and you keep your own prices. Ask us about a listing.
