About

Manatee Lagoon is an eco-discovery center run by Florida Power & Light next to its Riviera Beach plant. In cooler months, manatees gather in the warm discharge water, and the center's waterfront promenade and upstairs observation deck give close views. Indoor exhibits cover manatee biology and lagoon ecology, and staff run family programs and events. Manatee season runs mid-November through March; outside it, wildlife viewing is less certain. Admission and parking are free.
