Operated on the SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo campus at Lakeland Linder International Airport, the Florida Air Museum covers civil, military and space flight. Galleries include a Howard Hughes Experience, Wings at War, Air Racing, Airshow Pioneers, Commercial Aviation, NASA: Beyond the Atmosphere and NOAA's hurricane-hunter science, plus the Florida Aviation Hall of Fame. Display aircraft fill the hangar floor. The museum reopened in late summer 2026 after a construction closure with new and refreshed exhibits. The SUN 'n FUN Aerospace Expo itself is a separate annual spring event on the same grounds.
